Jovanny was born in Surigao Del Norte. He moved
to Manila at a young age and has been tattooing for over 11-years.
An ultra-creative and ambitious artist, Jovanny handmade and
improvised his 1st tattoo machine. In 2000, he took the leap and
started his tattoo apprenticeship through the guidance of Marlon
Capuno. Confident, in 2003 he became a full time tattoo artist at a
tattoo shop in Star City. He didn't start competing until Dutdutan
in 2006 and has since won numerous tattoo competitions around
the country, including 1st place at the Red Horse & San Miguel
Tattoo Challenge (Tattoo of the day) and 2nd Place in Dutdutan
in 2013 (best female
tattoo category).
