Beginning in high school, Chris
dreamed of being a tattoo
artist, however, with limited
funds he was not able to purchase the necessary
equipment. Armed with ambition, tenacity and
ingenuity, the young Christopher created his
first machine: composed of a broken toy as a
coil, a piece of bent metal as a machine frame,
part of a ball pen as a grip, power cord adapter
as his power source ­he was in business.
Later, Chris married, had children and was forced
to seek employment. But, he never forgot his passion
for tattoo art. He spent his off-time teaching himself
the craft at computer shops and by studying videos
and his mentors
while they worked.
He got a break, and
